Description
This course offers a deep dive into neo-Stoicism, a philosophical current that combines the principles of classical Stoicism with elements of Christianity. Founded in the 16th century by the humanist Justus Lipsius, neo-Stoicism proposes a life guided by reason and virtue, resisting earthly passions and aligning oneself with divine dictates.
Throughout the course, we will explore four main themes: the will, fraternity, cosmopolitanism and morality. These key concepts will be explored in depth to understand how they can be applied in everyday life to achieve a balanced and fulfilled existence.
